Physical activity is an essential part of general health and diabetes management. However, recommending weight-bearing physical for people with plantar diabetic foot ulcers controversial, even when gold standard offloading devices are used, as it commonly thought to delay healing. We aimed narratively review relevant studies investigating the relationship between ulcer healing activity, pressure device adherence. defined those from two systematic reviews, along identified since using a similar updated Pubmed search strategy. six studies. One study found that more daily steps were associated worse healing, three no significant association in others was unclear. Thus, there weak evidence inverse while utilizing devices. propose Diabetic Offloading Activity framework guide future research find optimal balance positive negative effects context ulcers. hope such will shed conclusive light on impact
